Field Trip Information

All groups interested in a field trip please call for reservations.  Groups must have a minimum of 20, or close to 20, three years and older.

School trips take place on weekdays, Monday through Friday, the last week of September and throughout October between 9am-1pm.

This very organized, educational program usually lasts two hours for the tour/stations plus additional time for lunch or snacks (ask for availability of picnic tables).  The length of the program can be altered for groups that require less than 2 hours and are not staying to eat.

The two hour program consists of 5 educational stations:  farm animal talk, hayride to the pumpkin patch, farm chores, a fun story and song, and playground or corn maze (pumpkin coloring on wet days). 

Russell Farms educational program with group discussions, along with interactive farm stations, not only educates each child on how several crops on a farm are grown, or teach the responsibility that is required when owning farm animals and managing crops in a field, but he/she will also experience, first hand, several of the important chores on a farm, and enjoy every minute of it! Children of all ages will have a blast and remember this exhibit for a long time! (This program meets the qualifications under Indiana's Academic Standards!)

Many retired teachers and college students have joined the family over the years to ensure that each field trip is everything that teachers, chaperones and students, could ever want in and enjoy in a field trip!  We are very proud of this entire program and assure that you will be very happy with all that the students learn while having fun on a real working farm!

Birthday Party/ Group Packages

Reserve a great, unforgettable party here on the farm!

ALL ADMISSIONS INCLUDE UNLIMITED: petting zoo, hayride, miniature golf, large scavenger hunt corn maze, small scavenger hunt corn maze (with prize), wall mazes, straw maze competition, huge inflatable slide, infant play area, basketball shoot wagon, barn bounce house, Mount Russell slide, tumbleweed ride*, whizzer ride*, pedal carts, train ride, pedal tractors, lasso a bull, old fashioned checkers, tic tac toe game, preschool playground area, older kid play area and many more games

Party host is responsible for payment, due at the end of the party. VISA, Discover, MasterCard, Cash and Check are all acceptable forms of payment. Admission is $12.50 for each guest over the age of 2 (2 and younger are free). Any guest not included in host's party plan must pay admission for themselves in order to enter facility. A reserved party tent, including picnic tables, is $100 for a 3 hour rental. These tents are 20x40' and are very roomy. We ask that the host please provide an invitation for each guest (paid for) to present at the admission gate, or provide Russell Farms with a list of invited guests.

A cake or cupcakes and/or food may be brought in for the party, along with decorations, gifts, etc.  This must STAY in the tent rental area. No electricity will be provided for food (i.e. no places to plug in crockpots, and no freezer space for ice cream cakes). Absolutely NO alcohol is allowed on the property!!
